Lager choice good, food ok, ideal location if you like sport, my son spends a lot of time there and would probably rate the pub 5 stars, but not really my cup of tea.

Chose the grill and free pint option but was charged for the pint. Decided to ignore this rather than begrudge 3.50. When the food turned up it had jacket potato instead of chips i told the bar maid i asked for chips she disagreed when i know for sure i would always choose chips. Then after once again letting it go i noticed the peppercorn sauce i had paid extra for was missing. I felt like a liability to challenge the bar maid again. So i ate up and left without my dignity. I wont come here again terrible service.

On the day Beverly served us and was most courteous and attentive. The food arrived hot , fresh and one time. If the MD reads this review , give those staff a pay rise!
